Today's manicure features a blue color theme, starting with a light purple shade for the thumb and ring finger. We begin by applying a base color to these two nails and let them dry thoroughly.
Meanwhile, we complete the index, middle, and little fingers with a pale lavender shade reminiscent of lilac flowers.
Once the thumb and ring finger are dry, we proceed to create a French tip on the back edge. We start by roughly sketching the outline with our regular base coat brush, maintaining the natural purple at the back edge, and transitioning to blue at the front.
Next, we refine the details with a fine brush to ensure a neat and tidy back edge. This meticulous approach ensures a more beautiful color when dipping into the powder.
The same method is applied to the ring finger: first, outline with a regular brush and then refine with a fine brush for crisp edges. After dipping into our chosen blue, we must wait for the powder to dry completely. It's crucial to allow the blue powder to dry entirely before proceeding because any dampness could contaminate the finished surface when adding the blue glitter.
This step is vital because once the fine glitter adheres, it's challenging to remove. Therefore, it's essential to observe carefully and ensure the nail surface is entirely dry before dipping into the blue glitter powder to avoid any issues.
